Borat from Kazachstan

For Borat's fans, this web site can be interesting. It contains links to several video interviews with Borat Sagdiev. I haven't seen many of them before, but I am not his greatest fan either... Ali G character is way cooler than Borat.

Sorry to disagree, but 'Borat' was the worst film I've ever seen! Seriously. I have a great sense of humor, but this movie simply crossed the line.

Wasted $8 to watch my country and my gender totally disrespected. The constant onslaught of bathroom antics, references to masterbation and perverted sexual humor was downright nauseating.

All the crassness is now being excused because Sacha Baron Cohen was supposedly "making a deep statement about society"? If Sacha had some deep socio-political message, it could have been wrapped in a more intelligent package.
Any 6th grader with a dirty mind could have made this film.

Perhaps Sacha's biggest statement of all is to make a totally crappy movie, disrespecting several ethnic groups and Americans nominate it for an Academy Award?

Jokes on us, folks.

you know, Mr./Mrs. Anonymous, if you'd think about for a minute before getting automatically upset, you'd realize that had Sacha wrapped his message in a "more intelligent package," it would have been totally ignored by just about everyone.

by presenting his message this way, he's gotten millions more interested in the problems of racism and sexism that would have ever have been interested in it had he just gave a boring speech or released a report.

I've watched the movie yesterday and it was rather entertaining.

In several "spontaneous" episodes I felt like the episodes were not authentic. Camera positions and video quality were too good to be done with hidden cameras, and the cameras had to be placed ALL OVER the place.

I don't think that the movie will make any difference to the society, people will forget about it as soon as it's off the movie theaters.

I give the movie 7 points out of 10.
